REMAC specializes in demolition and environmental remediation projects, varying from the demolishing of buildings, roadways, bridges, to the demolition of underground and above ground structures, and disposal of demolition materials. We bid on exciting new opportunities and are rapidly growing! Our projects are within the DMV area.

REMAC is seeking an experienced, exceptionally organized, self-motivated contracts administrator/assistant to an estimator. The contacts administrator will be working hand in hand with REMAC's estimators.

The position is full-time, reporting to our office in Potomac, MD 5 days a week.

Start time is 8 AM

The qualifications, requirements, and experience you must meet to be considered for an interview:
    1. Must be an excellent and strong communicator. Efficient with phone calls and emails, highly organized, quick in typing (55-60 WPM or higher), great with dictation, also possess a sense of urgency while working on the high-demanding estimating projects.
    2. The candidate must possess the precise and professional English language both written and verbal.
    3. The candidate must have worked as a contracts administrator and has held a high demanding secretarial/administrative position being a right hand to an executive, an estimator or a senior projects manager for a minimum of 3 years.
    4. The candidate will seek out all general contractors that are bidding the job, find, manage, and independently utilize all POC's data such as emails and phone numbers. Call, email, represent REMAC's interest in the bidding in a professional manner
    5. Manage company's bidding files, all paperwork/email correspondence, binders and folders, may it be pre-bid or post-bid.
    6. Manage a huge database, and assist looking for drawings for specific projects
    7. Must have experience in putting together construction bid packets inclusive of a working knowledge of the required significant paperwork to be completed regarding the MBE and WBE participation.
    8. The candidate must have experience in supporting proposal writing and assisting in typing, and proofreading.
    9. The candidate will actively assist the estimator and other executives in the company in purchasing goods, materials, and supplies. The professional under consideration must have experience of interfacing with subcontractors and the like, cultivating vendor relationships.
    10. Candidate will occasionally visit the job sites.
    11. Some knowledge of construction and demolition estimating is a MUST.
