RemacUSA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Demolition/Construction Project Manager. Onsite Project Manager Superintendent for Selective Demolition (DC, MD & VA) RemacUSA, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager Superintendent with selective demolition experience as well as:
Must be BILINGUAL - fluent in English and Spanish
1. Demolition – interior, whole buildings, selective with retaining structure, etc.
2. Supporting construction efforts
3. Environmental
4. Lead & asbestos abatement
5. General site restoration
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage different projects from beginning to end.
Jobs are within the DMV
Supervise daily field activities of subcontractors and employees.
Assist with estimating new and upcoming jobs.
Interact regularly with clients and inspectors.
Order and acquire necessary materials.
Ensure that work is completed in compliance with building codes and schedule inspections.
Field business development calls and leads.
Generate proposals and contracts.
Acquire permits and create construction schedules.
Other administrative duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFCATIONS:
3-5 years previous experience in field project management preferred.
Must be customer service oriented.
Possess strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability.
Must be able to negotiate construction sites; supervise the work of laborers, subcontractors etc., and give them guidance and assistance when needed.
Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement.
Have a valid driver’s license.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Have good verbal and interpersonal skills.
Must have excellent organizational and time- management skills.
Computer literacy and familiarity with Cad Systems, Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Ability to interpret architectural and site engineering plans.
